Mook vs Cleveland

Another big player leaves Cleveland for Miami... but in this case, he's really only big in size...
Still this gives me a reason to write about Cleveland.

In one sense i was glad when the Red Sox won b/c the fans stopped whining about how cursed they are... wait no red sox fans still whine and are still annoying... and they never really had reason to complain, White Sox and Cubs had gone longer...

but still no city has been cursed more than Cleveland.
And there is no question about it. LeBron leaving was just normal to them. And reality is, this was one of the least bad things that has happened to them.

When i was in college i met Tim. He struck me as one of the most cynical and bitter persons i ahd ever met... but when thinking of Cleveland sports it made sense.

I mean, not only did Cleveland suffer through bad Browns teams- and quite loyal to them anyway, but after they moved, they won the Superbowl!
Teams come close- only to lose in dramatic fashion... and at other times just plain awful. i feel bad for Cleveland fans. i will root for their teams.

There is drama in sports. There is story. There are curses. There are underdogs and heroes and villains. There is crying. And this is why we love sports
